Hydrographic surveys in UAE are done to measure different elements at sea which affect marine construction, dredging, offshore oil exploration (or) drilling, maritime navigation and other related activities. In surveying process, a lot of importance is given on shoreline tides, sounding, sea floor, submerged obstructions and currents. Here readings, stats and various other factors are read and analysed to determine factors based on the depth of the sea level, barriers located underwater and so much more. Here the surveyors basically study the sea and are constantly using various matters to determine different information. The method in which the surveys are done is through attaching a sounding line or echo sounding equipment under ships where information is gathered while the ship travels in the water.
