The chemical industry in the UAE consists of companies that manufacture industrial chemicals; vital to the UAE economy, it converts raw materials such as water, oil, minerals, metals, and natural gas into more than thousands of different chemical products. Careful planning has always been implemented in the production, utilization, shipping, and throwing away of these chemicals. There is detailed legislation covering the manufacture, delivery, storage, transfer, labeling, packaging, use and disposal of chemicals and other substances that could eventually hurt UAE residents and the UAE environment.
