Miracle Garden

Dubai is situated in the Arabian Desert, which gives this ultra-modern metropolis its extremely hot and arid climate where only the most resilient of flora and fauna can survive. However, there is one place in Dubai where people can enjoy the breathtaking sight of nature in technicolour.

The Miracle Garden was opened on Valentine’s Day in 2013 and is located in Dubailand. The sprawling 72,000 square meter area features more than 45 million flowers in an array of colors and shapes; it is no wonder that the garden is considered as the largest natural flower garden in the world.

Floral arrangements have been artistically constructed to form fun shapes like stars, hearts, pyramids, domes, and other interesting structures. Shapes and patterns change with each season, which gives visitors a brand new experience with each return to the garden.

The fact that millions of flowers can bloom in the middle of the desert is not the only thing that makes this a “miracle” garden. Even more awe-inspiring is the fact that the garden maintains its blooms by using only recycled water through drip irrigation and saves up to 75% of the expected level of water, energy and fertilizer.

Due to extremely high temperature in the UAE, the Dubai Miracle Garden is closed during the summer season, but can be viewed every day from October to May. For more inquiries, visit www.miraclegardendubai.net
