In 2001, Fouad Mahmud and Dr. T.B. Ranganadhan formed a geomatics engineering company with a focus on providing high quality, responsive land survey service to serve UAE and the Middle East.

Incorporated as Ard Geographics, the company has since become a professional services leader in the United Arab Emirates and beyond, and remains a direct reflection of the founders’ vision and entrepreneurial spirit. Currently Ard is making great progress under the leadership of Ravi Kumar Madisetty as the managing director. Ravi joined Ard as a geomatics engineer in 2002 and was subsequently promoted to operations manager and then managing director of the company in 2011. The company remains true to its focus as geomatics professionals, committed to integrity, timeliness and cost effective solutions for the clients.
