About Reinforced Piping System

A reinforced piping system is made up of a thermoplastic material which is highly durable. The thermoplastic material consists of a synthetic fibre such as glass, aramid or carbon which can prevent slab leakage. They were constructed to replace medium pressure steel pipes as they are prone to corrosion. Synthetic fibre reinforced pipes are very flexible and used in offshore industries. Some of them can be reinforced with steel wires for additional protection. They are widely used in control lines, umbilicals, flow lines, offshore soil rig applications and much more.

Reinforced thermoset pipes are designed to endure high water pressure and resist intense heat and weather prone applications. Customers can choose the best type of piping system according to their requirement and building design. A typical reinforced piping system comprises of synthetic pipes, pipe fittings, flanges, gaskets, bolting, valves, specialities and other accessories. Most of them are shaped in a tubular manner and fixed with an outside diameter which can be varied accordingly. There are three types of pipes which include welded, seamless and forged. The thickness of the component corresponds to the overall design of the system. Reinforced Seamless pipes are constructed by piercing a billet by the process of rolling or drawing. These pipes are commonly used for high-pressure applications.

Reinforced piping systems are designed by the process of electric fusion welding as pipes carry a single or double longitudinal butt wiled joint which is produced by electric arc welding. Electric resistance welded pipes are longitudinal butt welded joints which are created by resisting heat which is obtained from the pipe. Forged and bored pipes are constructed by forging and boring them to a required thickness. They can be reinforced using metals of different thickness for increased tensile strength. Reinforced piping system designers analyse the area which needs to be piped and design the piping network system in a careful manner. They use different materials such as carbon steel, special grade piping steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals such as cupric-nickel, tantalum to enhance the inner strength of the material.

Reinforced Piping systems can be joint in different ways such as by butt weld pipe joints, socket weld pipe joints, screwed pipe joints, flanged pipe joints and spigot-socket pipe joints. Reinforced piping system designers use four different types pipes which include carbon steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, low alloy steel pipes and high-temperature carbon steel pipes. Reinforced carbon steel pipes are welded and galvanized black steel pipes which are ideally used for high-temperature applications. They comprise of an electric fusion of welded steel pipes which are best suited for high pressure and high-temperature applications.

Reinforced stainless steel pipes are considered to be the most reliable piping system as they are relatively large in diameter and very durable in design. They are resistant to corrosion and high temperature and can be used for various industrial applications. It designed as an electrically fused architecture with a large steel chrome and Nickel alloy for high-temperature applications. Stainless steel piping systems are known for their robust design and are the most preferred option. Reinforced carbon and alloy steel piping systems are constructed by the process of electric fusion welding which is a very reliable method of designing. Some popular locations to find the reinforced piping system in Dubai are Ras Al Khor, RAK free zone, AL Jazira Al Hamra, Ras Al Khaimah, Al Quoz Industrial area, Al Quasis Industrial area and Jumeirah.
