Expanded Polystyrene in Fujairah

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) are made up of large chains of monomer styrene. Polystyrene is basically an inexpensive hard plastic and usually extruded as foam giving Expanded Polystyrene Foam. The foam is light weight, consisting 95% of air, but still it feels solid, rigid and durable. It is a poor conductor of heat and shock absorbing. It is mostly used for packaging and also as insulation material. This foam boxes are used to store cold or frozen items, especially fish with some ice to keep the fish fresh. As its hydrophobic in nature, we can use it for storing and transporting fruits and vegetables. The shock absorbing quality makes it ideal for transporting fragile items like wine bottles, glass wares. It can also be used as the insulating material for panels and boards used for facades, walls, roofs of building and cold storage.
