ROBERT LYON INTERNATIONAL established a branch in Dubai in 1977 and is an associate company of ROBERT LYON & CO. which was founded in London in 1844 to serve and advise Lloyd's of Cornhill. Robert Lyon & Co are Lloyd's Agents in London.

 The U.A.E and in particular Dubai has become one of the major trading centres for imports, exports and re-exports in the Middle East. It continues to expand its industrial base and with its strategic positioning in the Gulf, plays an increasing active link for transportation of goods. Dubai now ranks amongst the largest sea and air centres in the world.

In 2004 Robert Lyon International became ISO 9001:2000 accredited making us one of the first of still only a few survey companies in the region with this quality award which is monitored by the British Standards Institute. Our company continues to operate an active and improving quality programme working closely with our associate offices in the U.K.

Robert Lyon International is approved by the local Chamber of Commerce in Dubai for quality inspection and control and prides itself in being affiliated to the Institute of Quality Assurance.
