The number of people using the internet to buy products and services is increasing rapidly, which has led to the rise of electronic commerce in UAE. Electronic commerce, commonly known as E-commerce involves trading in products or services using computer networks. People are increasingly using the internet to purchase products due to factors such low prices and the capability to make purchases at the comfort of home/office. Many companies have entered into the E-commerce field in response to the high demand. In spite of the growing demand, some factors such as large shopping malls and lack of connectivity is affecting electronic commerce in this region.
