About ROV Surveys
ROV surveys in Ras Al Khaimah usually refer to the surveys done through remotely operated vehicles that are also known as ROVs for reference. These are actually underwater robots that are connected to a ship’s body by the help of cables. These cables are used to transmit signals for command and control to the operators of these ROVs. ROVs are actually used in object identification, as well as inspections of the ship’s hull. Even though these are replacements for the conventional driver, they are used mostly when it is not possible for a diver to make a dive or they are not available at the moment of requirement.
